Karkonosze Mountains Winter Photo Workshops

Paweł Uchorczak is a professional landscape photographer from Poland. For him, photography is a way to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the natural world. He has been leading photography workshops for over 10 years and has organized nearly 100 workshops during that time. His workshops are known for carefully selected, original locations and for practical guidance that helps participants improve their photography skills.

Paweł is also an ambassador for Canon and Manfrotto, and his work has received numerous international photography awards.

December in the Karkonosze Mountains is a time when the mountain landscape transforms into a true winter fairytale. Join me for a unique four-day winter photography workshop, where we will photograph some of the most beautiful and rugged areas of the Polish mountains.

What will we photograph?
Spectacular winter landscapes in the heart of the Karkonosze Mountains
Our main destination will be the highest parts of the Western Karkonosze. Winter in this region offers spectacular light and remarkable snow and ice formations.

We will photograph magical sunrises and sunsets. Snow-covered rock formations provide excellent foreground elements for creating layered landscape compositions.

The majestic, steep slopes descending into these glacial cirques are among the most impressive landscape subjects in Poland. We will capture the rugged character of winter, dramatic clouds moving across the mountain ridges, and unique light reflecting from snow cornices.

Mountain winter is not only about wide panoramas. Frost-covered trees and wind-sculpted natural formations create fascinating subjects that are perfect for telephoto photography.
