Description
Martina Wärenfeldt is a Swedish portrait photographer based in Växjö, where she has run her studio for over 20 years. Her photography journey began after receiving a camera as a graduation gift, and later developed while studying in Los Angeles. She started her career working with portraits in the entertainment and music industries.
Today, Martina focuses on fine art portrait photography, creating images with a strong, personal and almost magical feel. While portraiture is her core, her work also includes weddings, corporate photography and fashion.
She has received multiple international awards and was named Photographer of the Year by the Swedish Portrait Photographers Association three years in a row. In 2019, she became Swedish Champion in Photography, winning gold in several portrait categories, and placed in the top 10 at the World Photographic Cup. In 2020, she won gold in portrait at the Federation of European Photographers’ Photographer of the Year Awards.
Join Martina Wärenfeldt for a hands-on workshop focused on fine art portrait photography. Together with Maria Lindberg — also an award-winning photographer and experienced educator — they combine creating and teaching in both photography and post-processing.
During the workshop, you’ll learn how to create artistic portraits both indoors using studio lighting and outdoors with natural light. The workshop takes place at Villa Vik, just outside Växjö — a beautiful location with accommodation, great food and inspiring surroundings for shooting. There is also a business session covering how to run a sustainable photography business.
Two weeks later, the experience continues online with two editing sessions, where Martina and Maria guide you step by step through their post-processing workflow. Limited spots available.
